Apprentices celebrate achievements
Six young people celebrated their achievements as apprentices with us last week.
The apprentices, who have been at Knightstone for 12 months, were treated to a celebration evening at our office on Thursday 29 January, where our Chief Executive Nick Horne presented them with certificates recognising their contributions to the business. Our Chair of the Board, Nick Medhurst, also gave a talk about his own career journey.
Four of the apprentices have secured roles with us in our Income, Finance, Supported Housing and Homeownership departments. One apprentice has a two year contract with us with a view to continuing onto another apprenticeship afterwards, and the other is progressing on to an advanced apprenticeship within our Supported Housing Team.
Jane Edmonds, our Assistant Director said, ‘Our apprentices have been great assets to teams across the business over the past 12 months and we’re very pleased to be able to confirm that all six of them are staying on with us.
We’re very proud to have been able to give these young people the opportunity to get the work experience and skills they need to progress in their careers, and we’ll continue to actively promote the recruitment of apprentices at Knightstone.’
Our apprentices made a film about their experiences. See it here: www.knightstone.co.uk/apprenticeships
